In my experience, most startup clients are alike. In a good way. A software startup client thinks and talks in almost exactly the same way as someone who’s just opened a cafe. They’re aspirational, energetic, adventurous, bold. They have the same overarching goals, and they think about their customers in the same way.
So it’s not the subject matter that unites them, it’s the type of copy they tend to require and the sort of messages they like to convey.
I love working startups. I find their energy and excitement infectious, and this always results in better copy.
