What they needed
The school is a long-term client of mine. They first came to me in 2009 because they needed their course outline pages restructured and rewritten.
What we did
Since 2009, I’ve conceived the standard structure for the school’s course outline pages, and written new SEO copy for 9 course pages (e.g. Master of Economics), as well as SEO copy for their About Us, Academic Research, Learning and Teaching, Undergraduate Programs, and Postgraduate Programs pages.
What the client thought
The school conducts rigorous usability tests on its pages. These tests have revealed that my copy significantly outperformed their original copy. ‘Cloze testing’ on two of my pages, for example, showed that reader comprehension was 144% better. ‘Flesch-Kincaid testing’ on the same pages showed an increase in ease of reading from 0 to 25.3 on the first page, and from 6.7 to 22.7 on the second (a higher score means easier to read). Reader feedback was consistent with these results:
